We joined Danz Magic two years ago in the Derby Studio. My daughter was 9 at the time and had done several years of gymnastics and heard about their great tumbling program as part of their dance classes. The first year we signed up for classes and she loved it! She did Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and Tumbling. We are from Oxford and were pleasantly surprised to find there were students from our town and all over New Haven County.
The following year she begged me to try out for the Competition Team. I wasn't sure she was ready but she really enjoyed the classes and was learning a lot so she tried out and made it! The team did several competitions and it really broke her out of her shell and she learned a lot. But more importantly, the studio is a real family. Miss Debbie and the teachers are very dedicated and the studios both have a lot of talented dancers of all ages. We have both made a lot of great friends and many of the Dads are involved too! We've also done fund raising and performed for community events. It has been a better experience for both of us than we could have imagined and we are looking forward to the 2017-2018 Season!

Danz Magic has been a loving 2nd home to our daughter for 8 years, 2 of those years on team. It has been so wonderful to watch our daughter's growth as a dancer.
Miss Debbie, Miss Stefanie, and Miss Brianna, including all of the other wonderful teachers and assistants, dedicate their time and passion into every single dance and it shines through in their students when they take the stage.
We couldn't be more proud of what our daughter has accomplished and cannot wait to see what the future holds!

Coming to this studio was the best decision we could make. The staff is very friendly and they teach technique and skills extremely well. They push just enough so that you can see an improvement in ability very quickly. They are also so respectful of the students that it creates a wonderful atmosphere where the students are respectful of each other. The studio becomes like a second family. We have only been here two years and my daughter always wishes she started here sooner!

Danz Magic truly is where all the magic happens, I am so glad to have found and joined this studio. I've learned countless new moves and had many fun experiences, and made lifelong friends along the way. I am thankful everyday for this studio and its staff.
